In an act of athleticism that could only be pulled off in anime, Pazu climbs a sheer column, with nothing beneath him but open air, and takes a bullet scrape to the face just so he can set the pirates free. At this point in the story, it's clear that Sheeta is not at all a violent person. As Muska takes control of the castle, gaining power over all the destructive forces the Laputan's left behind, he prepares to drop the military who brought him to Laputa into the ocean far below. Even though they kidnapped her and wanted to abuse the power of Laputa as well as its riches, Sheeta stops Muska long enough to warn the men to run and save themselves.
Even though it didn't matter and the military was all but wiped out in one fell swoop, she still gave it her all to try and save them. Sheeta manages to grab her crystal back from Muska and makes a run for it, trying to stop him from causing any more chaos than he already has. Pazu is also looking for Sheeta at this time, with a grenade launcher to boot, and is given the crystal and told to throw it into the ocean to ensure Muska couldn't use it.
Despite seeing for himself the kind of power the crystal gave Muska, Pazu pursued the pair in a last-ditch effort to save the girl that means everything to him. In a scene mirroring an early act by Pazu, Sheeta throws herself in front of live fire to make sure Pazu gets away safely so that he can rescue Dola.
While this wouldn't be the only time she was shot at, it was an act of pure instinct with no hesitation that shows viewers just how close the pair had become over the course of their adventures. Even though the effort resulted in her once again being kidnapped by Muska, she cared more about Pazu's life than being taken by the man from whom she had only just escaped.
Before Sheeta fell from the sky to literally land in his arms, Pazu had a fairly decent life. He was fed and taken care of by the mining town, had a roof over his head, a solid job working as a mechanic in and around the mines and the citizens helped him and Sheeta without question when they were chased by pirates. Although he had a dream of one day finding Laputa to prove to the world his father wasn't a liar, he didn't seem to be in a hurry to get there until he met Sheeta.
Incorrectly assuming that the house the children were hiding in had no other exit, they decide that they are strong enough to take on the town. Even if the children had no escape, the likelihood of those pirates being able to capture them was extremely low until Dola finally arrived. Even then, it's doubtful that the town would have given up the children so easily. Even though the crystal was in her family for generations, she never knew what her crystal was capable of doing.
No one in her family thought to tell her about the ways it could protect her, with or without the use of a spell. This is why she had difficulty believing Pazu when he tells her that she floated down from the sky. If Sheeta's mother had told her what the crystal could do, Sheeta would have probably understood why it was important for her to be cautious about showing it to other people. Although Sheeta's mother did warn Sheeta never to show her crystal to other people, Sheeta doesn't hesitate to pull out her necklace when she notices that the rocks around her are glowing.
Uncle Pom, the man they had just met, seems overwhelmed when he looks at it and even reaches out to it as if he were tempted to take it. Sheeta was fortunate that he didn't attempt, but she was surprisingly careless since she had just told Pazu about her mother's warning a few minutes earlier. After joining the pirates, Dola decides that Sheeta needs to dress like one to fit in. Dola hands her some of her own clothes, but being a grown woman, Dola has a much different build than Sheeta does.
Regardless, when they leave Dola's room, the clothes seem to fit Sheeta perfectly. The pants only had one button, so it's hard to imagine how they could have adjusted the pants and shirt's size so quickly without any of the fabric dangling off of her.
Sheeta's grandmother was the one who taught Sheeta all of the spells that she knows. She taught Sheeta good spells, but she also taught her evil spells for Sheeta to appreciate the good ones. She is the rightful princess of Laputa and posses the aetherium crystal which saves her in times of danger. She befriends an orphan named Pazu.
Possessing the aetherium crystal and being who she is, subjects her target to many antagonists such as Dola's gang , Muska, etc. When she holds Pazu while falling, the aetherium crystal glowing which saves along with her friend Pazu floating down deep in underground. When they made it to the underground mine tunnel, he lighted up so they could hide through the tunnel.
After they got out, they were captured by the government again, and she's in her room. She remembers when she's a little girl, and her mother taught her the spell. The spell causes the crystal to glow. Disney Wiki Explore.
